Our Mission

United Renters For Justice/Inquilinxs Unidxs por Justicia (IX) works for permanently affordable democratic housing and structural changes: tenant unions, rent stabilization, stronger enforcement of renter protections, and community owned housing. The four pillars that make up our organization are Community, Justice, Transformation and Struggling Together.

About

Through IX, tenants across Minneapolis come together to push back against the worst excesses and consequences of our housing system. We are developing a new idea about what housing is and can be, and we are building it together with our allies, including neighbors, community organizations, coalition partners, donors, and elected officials.
